Filed my application on April 28, 2015, 68 days ago. The wait continues. I have not yet completed the CCW training (not it budget). I was planning to take the class after approval but may end up taking it before I hear back. Will keep you guys updated.

Since you are counting the days, suggest taking course now. Otherwise you have to continue counting unnecessarily after notification as you wait to take class and for KC to issue your permit.

I turned my application and all paperwork on April 8th which will be 3 months tomorrow. still waiting. Very disappointing.

Be patient. Prepare your gear, practice what you can, and memorize the laws while you are waiting. Time well spent.

Yes. I submitted 6 references. I figured one extra could do no harm. All of my references knew me at least a year. DOJ did call asking for my pervious state driving record. I asked him if the time length of the references was ok and he said yes the judge likes to see them with at least one year.

Just think Chris Christie is running for President this year if he gets elected I see our gun rights being severly violated.

I'm on week 13 of waiting in hopes everyday when I go to the mailbox. Hoping I receive it soon but i know I have at least 10 more weeks if not more

What county are you in? Why do you say you have 10 more weeks? Im in Sussex county and Im on week 15, still waiting, I was told 10 to 12 weeks. I just keep watching that mailbox. Good luck.

Mine in NCC took 14 weeks. Applied early march and received mid june.

I'm also in nnc on week 15 almost. I emailed Dale @ the court and she told me my app was with the AG investigators and will probably be a few more weeks. Just wish it would get here already

Finally received my permit yesterday, 17 weeks and one day from Sussex county. I have read a lot about a new card being issued on this site. The card I received is just a laminated piece of paper. Nothing like the credit card style I have been reading about. Very happy to have got it just the same. Can't wait to take the sig for a walk today.

Yes, I received my letter. It is attached to my last post. I have not taken the class yet.
