Y'know, times are tough right now... and we're lefty-lefty liberals... but my wife and I just made the decision:

I'm merely a liberal. My wife is an actual Commie: she was in the Oktobrists and the Young Pioneers.  :D

Left or right, being born & raised in the last major city the Nazis took on their way to Moscow (and the first one the Russians took back) makes a girl appreciate the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Im sorry she had to go through that mess! I wish more people understood the past and why we need to protect our rights before their slowly taken.

Her grandfather took his wife and children out to the forest, and they slept under the snow. The partisans knocked off 30,000 Nazis in two months... with old WWI Mosin-Nagant rifles, and the weapons they took from dead Germans.

oldgray i was under the impression that not everyone in the USSR was a commie but in fact actual membership in the party was reserved for a select few... (good old boys), and the Oktobrists, Young Pioneers and the Komsomols was just a mechanism for political indoctrination.
