Christmas Wish List
« on: December 10, 2012, 11:14:37 PM »
Okay, gentlemen, I need your input.  Trying to come up with something unique or just plain awesome for my hubby for Christmas that he would love, having to do with guns.  Now, I'm not Rockefeller so ideas have to be reasonably doable.  I'm pulling my hair out trying to come up with something different.  Any ideas or suggestions?  Don't hold back, your idea may just be the one I can use.  Thanks.

Are you thinking about guns or accessories? Also, what is your budget?

Does he have an AR15? If not, that would be really cool. If he does, what kind of optics? You can go wild here and blow him away (no pun intended).

sooner or later everyone wants  a 1911.

I got my Dad a night vision a few years back , so he could watch the bears at night.  Only buy one with lots of reviews.  Optics planet.

If he has AR style rifle, a nice reflex sight such as EOtech or Aimpoint. $500 range.
If he has multiple long guns, a nice wood rifle rack, $200-300 Beech lane, or a safe $800+

As Craigwill201 mentioned, the Henry .22 rifle is sweet. It's on my short list.

How about shopping the NRA store ( profits go to protecting the 2nd Amendment like it just did in Illinois) or the web page of the manufacturer of his personal carry pistol. Most have accessory stores online.

hey, ya'll, thanks for the great ideas. I'm sure he woud like me to get him one of each--maybe I will...just joking my pocketbook would have a heart attack.  There are a couple of ideas here that I'm gonna look into as I've already shopped the NRA store.  So, thanks loads, hope WE ALL get what we want for Christmas.

I know you mention a gun but, just to throw this out there, you cannot go wrong with a tablet in case he doesn't have one.
