Sent off my packet yesterday and I guess I will check in every day here to see what's new and ask a question or two. I have plenty to keep me busy until the notice comes.
My brother got his approval in Sussex after 3 weeks. His son filed in Kent, his papers got shuffled to the bottom of the pile, he called them up and and they approved his application after 2.5 months.
Nice forum.

Hello and Welcome aboard !

Welcome to the forum. Appears that there is "insufficient suffering" in Kent County. :) Here in NCC, we get toughened up! :(

I hope that "insufficient suffering in Kent County" refers to the shorter waiting time than in NCC. :)
Thanks for the welcomes!

Correct! It just doesn't seem fair that you get reasonable turnaround times and we don't. :(. On the serious side, the faster the better!

I just got back from a short trip up north and when I got back, my permit was waiting for me at the post office.
By my count it took 15 days! ;D
-
Congrats! And WOW! That's the MAX it should take up here.

Congrats!!!

Welcome aboard and Congrats.
15 days is the fastest turn a round till date other then 20 minutes wait up in PA :)
-
Thanks all but I must confess that, in my excitement I miscounted: it was 19 days but that ain't too bad, eh?
-
congrats and 19 is still fast...

I am at day 20 now so hopefully mine is in the mailbox when I get home lol.

Kent County can be pretty fast at times. Good luck!

Judging by the number of notices in the Guide, it appears that the post-Newtown rush to get-one-while-you-still-can is over and things are back to normal. I only saw 6 or 7 notices in the Guide last week and only 2 from Kent.
I was pleasantly shocked to get my permit in such a short time.
Good luck to those still waiting. :)
