Title: Philly knife-wielder chooses poorly
Post by: Cbmarine on October 15, 2014, 11:40:03 PM
Army vet to knife-wielding man at Pathmark: 'I don't want to shoot you'
Ability: had 13" knife
Opportunity: approaching army Vet and girlfriend
Jeopardy: five feet away, cursing and threatening
Preclusion: showed Glock and warned BG
Conclusion: shot to the groin with intent to "stop him"
Background: 21 prior arrests on charges including assault and theft
My observation: BG made poor choice of victim but was lucky not to take 2 in CoM. Most unlucky: taxpayers.

Excellent location to shoot this attacker. CCDW saved another.

Bad choices include bringing a knife to a gun fight.
