I don't like Kimbers - Schwartz is poorly designed, one year warranty, .... They do have good ads nevertheless
-
Made a trade for one I like the little pistol not as much recoil as I thought.
shoots well at 25 yrds.
Like to thank Chris for the transfer

Chris is THE GO TO MAN.

I have always thought of them as "show guns". Flashy and over priced.

Kimbers are excellent firearms. The slide and frame are mated early in the build and hand fitted. The price is good for a high quality 1911. Unless you can afford a Les Baer or Wilson Combat (which is a lot more). Kimber's customer service is also very good.
1911 is the Best fighting handgun ever designed.

I agree with the latter statement - 1911 being the best fighting handgun even designed.
As far as price/quality I disagree. I think the best production 1911 in the market today is SA - parts, customer service.

To be honest , this came in a trade , I made out and would never buy this out right.
but I am happy , thats what matters.

I agree with you, all that matters is that you are happy.
My posts above were in answer to the OP. Enjoy your pistol!!!
