Title: Summer "printing"
Post by: Cutter on April 11, 2017, 10:26:42 AM
Good morning...
Is anyone aware of a Delaware "law" concerning CCDW printing?
Thanks

There is not one.

And NO ONE will see it if you are printing.  The PUBLIC is CLUELESS!

This exactly.  If you're paranoid about printing, stick to darker colored clothes as they tend to be less obvious on the printing front.

I always carry a leatherman on my belt and it can print also but I don't worry about it or my firearm . These days people carry knives, phones , fanny packs and who knows what else on their side . No one really knows what is under their shirt .

Mall at Christmas time.  Two of Delaware's finest approaching from strong side.
I'm seated in the center of the mall. Jacket off. Elbows on knees (leaning forward).
I KNOW I was printing.  It I'm sure was almost screaming.  The paid professional
observers kept walking - nothing said.

Today most people are too occupied by the tiny screen in their hands to see anything else.

Of course, those of us who know you could present an alternate plausible explanation, but politeness and civility reigns.

99.9% of the public are staring at their smart phones, thus won't notice you printing. A police officer might, as they tend to look for such things.

Be difficult to have a law concerning printing when you live in an Open Carry state.

Ding. Ding. Ding.    Winner!!!!

You will not be noticed.  Most important is can you quickly access your gun?

I remember when I cared about printing now I just dont really care.  Most people are usually to busy with their phones or whatever else they are doing to even be looking in your general direction.

Agreed.  For the last few months, I've been carrying a baseball bat, I mean a glock 21, and no one notices....

I wore a Glock 20 in a Safepacker for two years, before I downsized to a G29.
Nobody noticed a middle-aged man with a pack on his belt... or, if they did, they didn't realize I had 31 rounds of full-power 10mm in there.
