UN Arms Treaty
« on: March 25, 2014, 10:55:09 PM »
I received an email from a friend the US Senate had voted on the UN Arms Treaty.

The United Nations Arms Trade Treaty lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but of most interest is point number 11:

This point CALLS FOR "MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION, DISARMAMENT".

Both Senators Carper and Coons voted Yes for the treaty.  Fortunately, it went down 53 to 46.

I didn't check with Scopes to find if this is true but have every reason to suppose it is.  If anyone has better insight into the treaty I think this would be a opportunity to see their insight.

Another reason why to vote those two out of office. They consistently vote against gun rights in attempts to infringe OUR constitutional rights granted by the Second Amendment.

Be careful with snopes.  I have seen some incorrect biased answers from them as well
