As the BG was breaking in "the officers are on the way." As the bad guy started to beat her, "the officers are on the way." What stopped him was her .38. If she did not have the gun the police would have arrived just in time to tape off the crime scene and take pictures of her body. You won't read about this on that Moms Demand Whatever gun site.
