Any motorcycle owners who carry while riding?
If so have you ever been pulled over by LEO?
And,
if so do you treat it the same as if you were driving a car?

As I wait for my ccdw I am thinking of senarios and questions.

Interesting question as I'm looking to take my bike license this year. Hadn't given this aspect any thought.

Adrian, I'm not a rider, but I wouldn't treat it any different than a car. There is no law to notify, but some consider it a courtesy. If the officer asked me to step off the bike, I would then notify. As a reminder, do not say "I have a gun". Something like "I have a carry license officer, and I am carrying in my waistband" would be more appropriate.

I am a motorcycle rider and have been for over 40 years and in the old days (pre 1990) I used to carry a pistol in my saddle bags or fairing pocket depending on the bike. I wasn't concerned about state laws as I rode across many states (all US except Hawaii) and kept my hand gun hidden. Back then it wasn't a big issue, as you well know, things have changed.

Now I either carry in my fanny pack or IWB holster. Now I will get permits from all the states I plan to travel and avoid the states I can not get a permit. This requires some interesting travel planning.  :)
