Wow, what a great site. So much information being offered by some outstanding people. I look forward to getting my permit. I've been a law abiding citizen and saftey minded hunter since I was 18 taking my hunter safety cource at Bombay Hook 20 some years ago. My dad is a retired DSP Heli Pilot and I grew up with Troopers sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee while the chopper was in the back yard. I have the utmost respect for gun owners who have the utmost respect for the Laws and Safety of those around them. I have started the process and hope to receive my permit this spring.
