Title: split second decision
Post by: kathy1 on November 28, 2012, 02:49:23 AM
It is unreal that it will take less than 1.5 seconds to make the one of the most important decisions of our lives with regard to CCW.  Any thoughts?

I’ve never been known as a speed thinker.  So if anything goes down that fast my game is up.  My sole talent in life is keeping my nose to the wind and watching the skyline.

But I do recall Wild Bill quoted as saying that you “have to take your time in hurray”.

Add to that that I cannot harm a kid, regardless of age, and regardless if armed.  So my reaction time could very well be “the rest of my life”.

Accually, when I took the course, it was about awareness.    Then, if you were paying attention in class, you might not have that window to worry about. Yes there are other things that I picked up,  but being aware of surroundings,  was key.
