Three members went to Lancaster today. Took about 10 min each and all three left with our LTCF Pa permit.

I got my PA permit in the bad old days of "Mail a copy of your DE permit to centre county."

I'll need to renew under the new in-person process eventually. I thought I read on PAFOA that Lancaster was iffy, but sounds like it was fine for you.

Did you find Lancaster pleasant, then?

Were you renewing, or first-timers? Could you describe the actual steps you went through?

Thanks.

Lancaster was very pleasant, fast, and efficent.
We all were new app's.
1. filled out Lancaster app on line, printed off 2 pages.
2. copy front and back of DECCW
3. copy of de drivers lic.
4. brought all that with us.

they:
1. signed another one of their forms
2. they did back round ck
3. gave them $20
4. took our pic and gave us their permit.

three of us went, and it was very pleasant.

I still have an issue with this....

OKAY YOU MEAN PRINTED OFF THE 2 PAGES??

Maybe should explain better...

the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has web site with PDF application forms that you can fill out on your computer and then print them off and take them with you. let me find the site and i'll send it to you.

I have an issue with the Sheriff using 2 pages in the application.  It's only supposed to be one.
