Do you have something in your background that needed investigation or something incorrect on your form that caused further investigating? If so that could be the issue.
My wife and I both got ours back in April and it was a 6 week 2 day wait.

Thanks for the post on the WBOC video. I missed the news the day it aired.
I guess that means that approximately 7% of the people in Sussex county have CCDW permits.

According to Wikipedia, the 2010 census shows a Sussex county population of 197,145.  (2647+676)/197145 = ~1.6%.  Were you counting just adults? Or just responsible adults? Or just responsible conservative adults? If the latter, most of NCC would be excluded!

Read an article yesterday about Sussex County. It said last year, 2012, there were 435 CCW permits issused in Sussex. Already this year thaere have been approx. 625 applications submitted. We still have over 5 months left this year. Stands to reason it will take longer, since, at the current rate, there could be an additional 300-400 more applications to process.

Waiting is hard, in this hurry up world, but must be. Anything worth having is worth waiting for......

I was counting people over the age of 21 who are not in jail, on parole, or registered sex offenders.  :D

At 7% CCDW, Sussex County must have a polite society!
