How to spot a concealed weapon: Patriotcaller
« on: July 21, 2014, 01:56:48 PM »
PatriotCaller webpage has tips on detecting a concealed weapon: asymmetric gait, abbreviated arm swing, upper body shift when approached, weapon adjustment, unseasonable clothing, etc.

Saw a video clip on Putin and Medvedev approaching a news conference: both had a full left arm swing but an abbreviated right arm swing.  Are they both right-handed?

I have seen this chart before and I am not impressed with it.

I know someone , that when he walks his right arm does not swing but his left does .  It's not because he has a concealed weapon, it's Parkinson.

How do you know it is a gun. Maybe the person is wearing a Insulin pump or a large cell phone.  By the word concealed , the law means not in plain sight. If it's covered, it's concealed. Example: wearing a gun on your belt in plain sight (open carry). Put a coat or clothing that covers it up, concealed (must have permit).
I'D RATHER HAVE A GUN IN MY HANDS, THAN A COP ON THE PHONE!

It's not the permitted carriers that I'm looking for: they're on my side.  The tips in the graphics lead me to focus on other attributes; demeanor, nervousness, swagger, no eye contact, sweaty palms, etc. The gent that I know has an insulin pump passes the other checks with flying colors.
