Welcome and this is a great Christmas gift. I have had this option since 2004 and I just wish that everyone with a CCDW permit in all states have the same. Maybe with Trump and the Republican Congress this will happen.

Well I've been a military cop since the early 2000's, but leosa never applied until 2013 when President Obama, signed in to law an amendment to the 2004 law. Then it took a few years for the DOD and the Air Force to implement the process. The navy and marine corps are still dragging their feet.

But with the upmost sincerity thanks Obama, the gun law he made law lets me carry in all 50 states.

Are you talking about organized unincorporated territories like Puerto Rico and Guam?

Obama said he had been to all 52 states. There are only 50 states. But then again he is a Muslim. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Good for you, I have one as well. I am retired and cannot carry on Dover AFB. If you are still active the rules might be different for you. Here is some good information from the FOP. Good luck.

Dover is still working on updating their Policy but looks like there only going to allowing active duty Security Forces stationed at Dover to carry under 926B. So guard, reserve, retired and other branches are a no go.

Are you guys sure its 50 state legal now?

http://le.nra.org/leosa.aspx

(b) This section shall not be construed to supersede or limit the laws of any State that--
(1) permit private persons or entities to prohibit or restrict the possession of concealed firearms on their property; or
(2) prohibit or restrict the possession of firearms on any State or local government property, installation, building, base, or park.

AM I reading that wrong, or not to supersede state laws still?

Yes, we are legal in all 50 states plus DC. We do, however, have to follow the state laws as for ammo capacity, no carry locations, school zones, etc. I used my LEO ID on a trip to the Smithsonian in DC. I showed my ID, told security that I was carrying a concealed weapon, and they escorted me past their security checkpoint. A friend did the same in NYC at the 911 memorial, although there they made him secure his weapon in an on-site locker.
