OMG.....just looked that place up. That place looks incredible! My wife and I will be doing the Lancaster run whenever ours come in. About how far is it to the court house from there?

It's 50 North Duke St.  150 is a parking garage.  You should be
Able to park on the street at the meter spot.  Pay at the kiosk.
Remember that you can carry in your vehicle on the way up, but of course you can't conceal on street until you have your license.

Wonder how this works on a motorcycle? I'm planning to ride up sometime. Figured I'd simply leave the sidearm at home as the safest thing to do. Certainly not leaving it in a tank bag and don't have lockable saddlebags.

Take it with you!  Upon going into the sheriff's office request to lock it up there.

(e) Facilities for checking firearms or other dangerous weapons.--Each county shall make available at or within the building containing a court facility by July 1, 2002, lockers or similar facilities at no charge or cost for the temporary checking of firearms by persons carrying firearms under section 6106(b) or 6109 or for the checking of other dangerous weapons that are not otherwise prohibited by law. Any individual checking a firearm, dangerous weapon or an item deemed to be a dangerous weapon at a court facility must be issued a receipt. Notice of the location of the facility shall be posted as required under subsection (d).

Call 'em see if they have lockers.

Yup.. I've read that before. My issue is on the street, getting off the bike I can't CC it down the sidewalk. If I pulled it out, unchambered it and tossed it in my backpack .. someone would scream, call the cops and cause a huge ruckus  ;D

I hate being on the 6:00 News  :D

Edit.. I'll have to give them a call next week but suggestions are welcomed.

Save yourself a lot of trouble by locking in in your car or truck and go in, get your permit and then carry til your heart's content. I've never seen anyone ask for a locker, but if you walk in carrying with no valid permit, you are breaking the law. Don't take the chance when you are soooooo close. We're talkin' 20 minutes here.

I renewed my non resident ltcf there last fall. Since I had a valid license on me, I just walked in and said I needed to check a firearm.
They were very accommodating (seemed like they were used to it). No one was even slightly excited. Nice folks.

I was directed around the metal detector to some lockers just across the hall where I locked up my pistol and spare mags and was given a numbered tag to reclaim my stuff. They kept the key. I was not even asked for my license.
