Delaware HB 22
« on: February 06, 2015, 11:12:51 PM »
Bill to incorporate the town of Townsend.

Don't like to see this:

2.1.2.20. may regulate or prohibit the use of guns, air guns, spring guns, pistols, slingshots, bean shooters, and any other device for discharging missiles that may cause bodily injury or injuries or harm to person or property; and may regulate the use of bonfires, fireworks, bombs and detonating works of all kinds within the town;

Amended to say "Discharge" instead of "Use"

Like to see this 2.1.2.20 deleted. Seems to me it is against the 2nd Amendment.

Thanks for noticing this.
It appears to be no more than a backdoor gun ban.

So:
Can't use an air gun to dispatch the ground hog living under your shed.
Would also ban Airsoft, even inside your house.
No more backyard archery practice.
How about model rockets-great way to get kids off the computer and lean how to build things.

Either needs to go or be amended to read "Discharge in an unsafe manner"

Here’s the real issue: when your religion is government, and government is god, you cannot tolerate any other God before it

I thought Delaware's "pre-emption" would render this un-enforceable?

Regards!
