I submitted my application today (9/16/2014) at the Prothonotary's office. I was told that the current estimate for a decision was 6 months in New Castle County. I should hear something by St. Patricks Day 2015. I hope she was wrong. I'll keep you posted.

Read the laws, train with your carry rig, and, if possible, acquire a blue gun to get used to "carrying" so you will be comfortable when your permit comes in. Be patient. Hopefully the time estimate is very conservative.

I was pleasantly surprised last weekend when I got my mail and found my permit. I live in NCC and it only took me 75 days to get my permit. That must be a record.

Wow. From what we've been hearing and experienced (I submitted last year), it's been 141+ days... Congratulations!

Congratulations. As said before, be safe and always carry.
Stay out of Jersey and Maryland and get up to Lancaster when you get the chance.

Congrats!
One of my students said his wait was 12 weeks and a day.
Glad to see they are getting faster.
