Welcome aboard, ESPman.  Lots of good people and good info here.  Be patient, practice carrying at home or with a blue gun, if outside.  Good idea to find an Action Pistol type course to hone your skills.  Which county are you in, YMMV.

I'm in NCC. I took my training course with Marino Tactical in Lincoln. My paperwork is already in order, just have to get my certificate and submit it all. I've been shooting for years now, but mostly rifles and other long guns. I did, however, buy a Kahr CM40 for my concealed piece. Shoots nice, but wants to jump out of your hand.
