Title: Need Some Encouragement

I applied for my permit on Feb. 12, 2016. I just about 6 months and still nothing!! I called a couple of times and was told it was in processing. I am concerned that I me be denied for some obscure reason. Anyone have any idea why it's taking so long?

Hang in there.  The wait SUCKS!  We know, it's the longest wait of your life.

I think the applications, being at an all time high, and the fact that the Liberal run Democrat Delaware government really doesn't want residents to have guns anyhow, is the cause of the snails-pace issuance of DEWWC permits. If Carney is elected Governor in Nov. You will only see things get worse. Good luck to all who have applied. you're going to need it. The only remedy is to put a Republican Governor and legislators in office in November and throw out the Democrats.
