"Wilmington - A place to be killed."

I've been rephrasing the city's old motto since they first started using it. Used to hang out around 9th & Tatnall and 10th & Orange... I know what goes on around there.

Wilmington is dangerous!  I avoid that place like its diseased, the last time I was there I took my son to a park only to be approached by a group of suspicious looking teenagers. As they approached I saw one of them reach into his waist band at that point I pulled my shirt back and placed my hand on my firearm.  They obviously saw it thought better turned and walked away in the other direction.  I don't know 100% what there intentions were but I doubt they were going to ask for directions.

I like the motto:

Wilmington:  A place to be a body.

Most cities are to be considered "unfriendly". Science has shown that when you put a bunch of rats in a confined area they will eventually eat one another. Same thing goes for people.

Well spoken ... by a democrat.

I own a building on E 26th st just off of market.  You won't catch me there unarmed for sure.  I currently OC when doing maintenance or picking up rent.  I think I will continue to OC even after my CCDW permit arrives.

What gets me is the unwillingness, by those appointed to lead, to acknowledge the problem. They would rather come up with excuses.

Wrong Obleo,
I'm as Conservative Republican as they come. Just stating the facts, bud.

Sadly acknowledgement of the problem often will lead to cries of racism. Its just like how Markell wants to attack our guns yet does not have an issue with the bail system ( news urinal article). I fail to see how it is that if you are tough on crime you are perceived to be racist?

Well Sturm, I was commenting on the story.  The quote should have provided that clue.
