Hi all,

I found this site while looking for information on Concelead Carry Classes.
I moved down from NY in 2005 and had to give up my Restricted Carry License from up there.
I have been thinking about getting my Concealed Carry license down here in Delaware but with low cash flow I'm not sure I can swing it.
I have looked into the class and $250 at Shooters Choice is just too much on me and my family at this time.
Does anyone know of any other place that offers it for less?

hello,i have a freind that does the classes,his name is kirk marino,he is former military and a milford policeman,he trains state and local police in firearms and self defense, also does the ccdw course.cost is $150.00. his other instuctor is named barry peterman who is a great guy to.former military police and military trainer.their facility is in lincoln,right up the street from fitzgeralds on 113.first class organization.it's called  MARINO'S TACTICAL SOLUTIONS, their number is 302-542-2456.i highly recommend these guys. they are both nra certified trainers.

Thank you is that Fitsgeralds recycling just south in Milford on R 113 ? 
Also the Process says you dont need to take the course untill you have word you are getting the permit is that correct ?

Yes, if you go through Milford on  Rt 113 and go thru the light at Lincoln (Fitzgerald's) go past Wilson's Auction, and it's the next road to the right. Clendaniel Road. Go all the way to the end of that road and his house in the last on the right. White with blue trim.

Is there any time restrictions on how long after you submit the ad that you can submit application ?

2 more questions please.
How do you go about getting the reference form filled out - are they supposed to do it themselves and print it out ? Or can I just print out an empty one and let them fill it out with a pen, is this acceptable ?
Also I can you be denied the CCW as Personal Defense may not be enough of a reason to get one ? Someone told me its possible ?

Print out 5 copies and hand them to your references.
Most people just use the standard "for protection of self and family". However several instructors on this forum have indicated that they this is sometimes inadequate.
