I would love to see sporting clays back at Ommelanden. How do you think we could do that?
-
that would be great but from what I hear its a long shot. From what I've been told DNREC had a problem with the lead being in the wooded area. Don't know if that is true just what Ive heard. I've started to go over to M&M in Jersey or Hopkins down in Maryland. Both are about a 25 minute ride for me but they are nice courses so its worth it.

I've never shot sporting clays nor have I shot trap or skeet. I wouldn't mind trying though.
-
Let me know if you ever wanna go Sig, I'm up for it anytime and have a couple shotguns you can borrow to see what you like.

For those of you that would be interested the new castle county chapter of Ducks Unlimited is having a Sporting clays Tournament on June 7th at Hopkins game farm http://www.nccducks.com/2009%20Spring%20Shoot%20Flyer.pdf (http://www.nccducks.com/2009%20Spring%20Shoot%20Flyer.pdf).

Gunenvy now that I'm off on Saturdays let me know when you want to go. I'm going to the gun show Sat.

So you don't think the "O" will ever start sporting clays back up. Going to NJ is just a pain in the butt.
-
M&M is a nice course so it dosent bother me too much but I wish the O would start it back up. I heard yesterday that they even cut skeet down to like 3 days a week. I haven't been down yet this spring to find out for my self.
-
That place could be a gold mine if it was not so missmanaged.
-
The O now has skeet and trap Fridays thru Sundays 9-3 and Wednesdays 9-8.

I need to get out there and do some shooting. Thanks Envy for the update on the hours.
