You guys have been making me nervous talking about all the long wait times. I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know that I submitted my permit in NCC on April 9th and received it the mail on Friday, June 15th. I was not expecting it that soon at all after reading some of these threads.
Anyway, my name is Jon and I am relatively new to the firearm/handgun scene. Although I grew up in a household where my father collected many different guns, we never really had the time to shoot that often. Now that we are both much older, we can bond over our new shared hobby and spend some time at the range together.
I plan to carry my S&W Shield 9mm during the summer months and probably my compact XDM 45 during the winter months. The XDM seems a little bulky to carry concealed under just a tshirt. I need to get a nice IWB holster but many companies have long processing times. I was looking at a McCabe IWB holster for the shield. Anyone have any additional recommendations for an single point IWB holster?
