Fell in love with this gun at a gun shop in Texas.  Didn't shoot it just held it.  Looking for any opinions on this beautiy!

I had a kimber but I had nothing but feed issues until I sent it back to Kimber. Got ride of it very shortly there after.

What I get from people who know more about 1911's then I do is that those with a barrel shorter than 4 inches will sometimes tend to be problematic. I know this is a generalization and not true of all models but I would suggest you do your research thoroughly before making a decision.

Thanks for the input.  Pretty gun but I don't want anything that doesn't shoot reliably.  My XD40SC is still my favorite.

I love 1911's, but I don't have enough money (let alone experience, or gunsmithing skill) to trust them.
I've seen $2000+ models that jam or misfeed one round in fifty.

I carry a Glock. I know it will work. For the price of a really good 1911, I can have three Glocks, and all of them are going to work.

Yup, I keep hearing that.  I may have to try out a Glock someday.
