Hey All,

New to this site from Newark.
Just applied for my De. & Fl. ccw permits.
Great site with lots of info, hope to meet some

  Welcome.   Most people talk about Utah? over fl for some reason.   Pa is easy once you get DE.

Yeah, after you get DE, Pa is one week away, from Centre County Sheriff.

UT vs FL to me is mainly cost.

Ut is the cost of the course, 62.50 for 1st 5 years, 10 for 5 rear renewal after that
Fl is the cost of the course (could be FREE!  Hunter Ed, military, or NRA (not free) course), 117 for the 1st 7 years and renewals are the same for 7 years.

As far as PA, I'd call them BEFORE sending it in the mail.  There was a law change where they had to take your photo and digitize your signature on their equipment.

my PA permit was issued 12-3-10 and I didnt have a problem. BUt theres no pic on mine, It reads- VALID WITHOUT PHOTO. Maybe the new law came into affect on 1-1-11  ???

Really this is the first I'm hearing this.

Law passed several years ago.  The delay to implement was so the counties could get the equipment needed.  Will find the link and post it.

If this is the case, it would be easier to just go to Media Courthouse, Delaware County.
It's what I did for various reasons. Painless.
