Need Maryland to get their act together
« on: February 11, 2016, 01:28:04 AM »
Maryland needs more conceal carry people. 2 Policemen dead with bystanders watching. I'm pretty sure if you guys we're there......
Crime is out of control and of course the reaction is going to be the exact opposite in Maryland. I am fond of Maryland. I am sure they are going to make their laws even more restrictive.

The "Has, based on the results of investigation, “good and substantial reason” to carry a handgun, including a finding that the permit is “necessary as a reasonable precaution against apprehended danger" requirement is used like a bat towards good law abiding citizens. Guys I talk to want to carry but almost have a surrender mentality when it comes to their confidence in spending good money on a losing cause. I'm sure those police officers could have used a few good citizen(s).

The odds are rapidly rising that you may encounter violence, whether the perpetrator has a gun or not, towards you or an innocent stranger. If you go to a bank, to a restaurant, to a ball game, a casino, or just getting gas or stopping at a red light keep aware. I've been approached at convenience stores and intersections enough times to open carry in my vehicle. I need my permit asap (yes I checked the mail). I don't know if crime reporting is increasing or just crime, but it's getting closer to home every day.

I was born and raised in MD., but have lived in DE. for over 50 years. I have permits from DE. & Pa., and seldom go to MD. anymore, as they are a Anti-Gun state. From my experience, if De. keeps electing Democrat/Liberal Progressive/ Socialist/Communist to office, we will be another MD. shortly. Now Markell will run for the US Senate. You know he will be part of the Gun-Grabbers when he hits DC. Why on God's green Earth would anybody vote for him? Or for that matter any Democrat unless you are Anti-American. I say anyone running under the Democrat Party should be considered a Communist(including Hillary and Bernie) and I consider anyone voting for a Democrat, a Communist/Anti-American.

Once again I am with you all the way Sturm. Anyone who is a hunter, target shooter, gun collector or anyway involved with guns who votes for a DemoRAT need to get their head examined. I also view Dems as the enemy who want to take my right to self protection away. I could on but you nice people do not need a rant from me. I saw a great bumper sticker recently, State is awesome, Gov.is a moron. All the best to everyone.

I could go for a good rant myself. Especially about liberal socialist communist head examinations.
