Every place i have tried only do passport photos. And all of the people working at these places get the dumbest look on their faces when i ask for a 1.5" X 1.5" photo. Looking in New Castle county.

we got ours at walgreens at bayview rd and rt 13

Apassport photo refers to a photo of your face and upper body on a plain background. I got my wife to take mine with my cell phone against a bare wall. Try to have the person taking the pictures to stand back about 6-7 steps and take several pictures a step closer and a step farther away. I then emailed the pictures to yourself and print them and cut to size. These are acceptible to the Prothonatary and guess what? They're free.

DIY! Save the money and buy ammo if you can find it.

What he said! I took my own. Not hard to do and you can get one that you like! LOL

We went to Costco. They had no problem with the size, and ended up giving us three pairs with the cutout lines marked but uncut. We sliced them out ourselves.

Walmart. Elkton. $7.42. 15 minutes
-
Camera's ETC, Newark and Wilmington..........but I made my own. Just need a blank lighted wall for background.
-
It's funny that people can't shoot their own picture to put on a permit to carry a concealed deadly weapon. Makes you go HMMMMM!
-
I did my own & resized it in photoshop
-
I did my own too, submitted 2"x2" and they were okay.
-
I got passport photos at Happy Harry's. No problemo.
-
I ended up going to Rite-Aid and cut them down. I posted this question because i wasn't sure if they would accept cut pictures. Thanks everyone
-
We asked at 3 or 4 places and everyone said hey could only do 2x2s. Ticked, I called the Prothonotary's office and asked. I was told to ignore what's on the form and just get 2 standard 2x2 passport photos. Was told they have been talking about changing the 'print' for years to just say a 2x2 passport photo.. just hasn't been done. Typical crap.
We went into Walmart, Middletown and explaining to the girl they were for CCDW permits she did them up and charged me .58 cents for each set of 2. Receipt said hey were digital wallets. Got 4 sets between the wife and I since we were applying to FL as well. So a total of 2.32 for all 8 photos : )
Wife was laughing when we left poking fun at my flirting abilities lol.
Edit.. Note that FL specifically says they don't want cut photos.

As I have posted before; Wife and I both got ours for DE and FL at Walgreens. Bayview rd and Rt 13 Middletown. We both have our DECCW and FL with those pictures.
-
Joe.. But what size? Wife stopped to pickup a few things there and asked. Was told they only I'd the 2x2 passports. They said they couldn't do 1.5x1.5 as the DE CCDW instructions request.

This topic just won't end!
As Frank mentioned. Just submit 2x2 passport photos. They will be accepted. I did this twice.
Take the photos with your cellphone, and print, or go to Happy Harry's photo dept and they will take them.
It's all good.

I agree with Lumspond. This picture taking seems to be too hard for some people. Makes me wonder if they can handle a gun, if they can't even handle a camera. Enough is enough.
-
Adrenolin: stop over tomorrow and I'll show you mine..think I have a spare one here, plus, you can come a visit...call me
-
Joe.. Will give you a call tomorrow.
As for the issue with photos.. The Delaware CCW Procedure (http://deccw.com/index.php?topic=7.0) thread should be updated to say standard 2x2 photos are accepted. It would do away with most photo questions. Could we get that thread updated please.
Also as I said, for those apparently to inept to handle a camera, ask for the 2x2 Digital Wallets at Walmart that only cost .58 cents a set instead of the 7 or 8 dollar passport photos. Useful information to possibly add to the thread mentioned also.

Walgreens and Walmart both do them, or do them yourself from a cell phone
