Short version: they missed a nearly-$11 million payment in May and admitted in a government filing that the missed payment raises "substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern."

More than likely the fault of poor marketing and management.

Colt has been teetering on the edge for years. It would be a @@@@ shame if the company went 10-7. Colt is a part of our history and it should remain in business. I wish a responsible company would take them over and get them on track.

My guess is the name will live on, but the company may not.
