Submitting application tomorrow to notarize or not to notarize

Hello Everyone,

I have finally gotten everything completed and am ready to submit my application which I plan on doing in the morning.  I'm curious as to everyone's opinion regarding the notary part.  Is it better to have it notarized prior to heading to the court house or should I just have it notarized at the Prothonotary Office when I submit the application?  I realize this is most likely just a personal choice but figured I would pose the question to those that have gone before me.

Usually, you can go to your bank and have the form notarized for no cost.  That's what I did 4 years ago.

When my wife and I filed we took our unsigned packages to the prothonotary office and a really nice lady went over everything, had us sign in front of her and notarized it on the spot. No charge.

My wife and I have always had them notarized at the Prothonotary's office. It's worked for 11 years so far.

Yes by all means have the Prothonatary's office do the notarizing. And, make sure you do not pre-sign the application. You will have to sign it in front of the notary. They usually check over the application to make sure it's complete.

Does not make a difference.  I had a coworker notorize mine.

Can't help you out since you are submitting today, but with a little notice I'd bring my stamp
home and notorize it for you.

i agree, let them do it there so they can look it over. although the investegators offce called me last week cause i forgot to answer a question, but they filled it in for me. the lady i spoke to was very nice.

Thanks everyone for the input.  In the end I opted to just let them do the notary.  So as of today at approximately 9am everything has been submitted now the waiting begins.
