Shots Fired Last Night
« on: November 03, 2016, 11:48:38 AM »
I live in downtown Wilmington and last night there were shots fired across the street. One guy shooting at two guys.. no one was hit but the guy shot five rounds. My wife just got in from walking the dogs. Our area is relatively calmer in contrast to other areas but every once in a while these idiots creep into our area. The AGs office called me last week because all they needed was my PA driving record (I lived there for a year). It appears that this may not take too much longer (relatively speaking) but in the interim I think I may choose to open carry going in and out of the city and at night when I am walking the dogs. Last night was way too close for comfort. I carry almost all the time at home and on my property (open) as it currently stands.

Thoughts? I am somewhat concerned but at the same time no one is safe around Killmington Smellaware. We will move eventually but in the interim there are problems with these hoseheads  creeping in our area.

Normally I'm not a fan of open carry in populated areas but in your case it appears to be prudent until you get licensed. Retention would be my main worry.

I agree with Clarence!
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms…disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…
