Reciprocity with Maryland???
« on: March 28, 2010, 10:34:14 PM »
Has anyone heard that Delawares AG's office is working on an agreement with Maryland to have the Delaware CCW to reciprocate with Maryland...It was something I had heard thru the grape vine and would be excellent if there is any truth to it since I live in down state and frequent Maryland for shopping and or dinner!  Has anyone else heard of it?

Would be great news.  But, I will not bet on it.  MD has HB52 goin round.  It will make MD accept the permits of its' bordering states.  But, I'm not betting on HB52 either.

I found the email addresses of members of the judiciary committee members who can release HB 52 to the floor for a vote...The website I found urged all to email these folks and express your feelings on the bill to hopefully allow its release to the house floor for vote...

Everyone should contact members of the Judiciary committee regarding HB52 and request the committee release the bill so the House of Delegates can vote on it. Below are the e-mail addresses of the House Judiciary Committee. Judiciary committee members and e-mail addresses:

I was talking with a MD State Trooper the other day.  He said that the troopers union is actively encouraging the change of MD laws to make the MD CCW permit process easier.

I don't know how much influence this union truly has, but it was nice to hear.

I didn't press him for any detailed information, so I don't have any further details than this.

Yeah as I understand it you @@@@ near have to be beat within an inch of your life and survive and then apply for a CCW in MD to be approved...I guess after thinking about it, id rather take a 6 month wait in DE versus the BS in MD

YAY!!! Makes it that much easier to stay out of MD.  I'll gladly give my money to DE or PA.

Hi everyone.
I guess you all heard the old saying " When hell freezes over " I'm afraid that they are all part of that DC crowd. Even If that 50 state carry would have passed, all the states that did not let any one carry before would have found a way to not let any one carry after, Just like DC did with there gun laws.
I'm very sorry to say this Is no longer a government, of the people, by the people and for the people. They have taken over and we will do what they say!!! This Is not what out fore fathers fought and died for. This my dear friends is not over!!!
