I love the S&W M&P stuff... The handguns especially.  I've actually shot a couple of the M&P rifles and they have all been very nice.  With that said, don't quote me since I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I believe the M&P rifles are made by Stag.  In other words, the Stag is the same rifle for a cheaper price... ;)
