I don't recall needing referrals, but my trips were for renewals.

Went to Media few days ago. Out of staters cannot apply on line. Takes two trips but pretty easy. Be advised they require two references even for renewals and they CANNOT be from same household. Hardest part is finding parking in middle of town. Leave ur pocket knife in vehicle or they?ll check it at the entrance. Sign/date application IN PERSON at sheriff?s office, not ahead of time, $20, take ur pic, wait for letter in mail, go back and pick up. Their procedure says less than 45 days to receive reply.

That's $40 million added to the plates of tax payers for LESS safety.

Wrong! The bad guys will be more safe because the good guys will be less likely to be able to shoot back

Permit to purchase is said to be funded by Carney and included in our budget sooo... it will be on the schedule when they start back up in March.
The issue (with funding) is, it's only funded for $2.7 million, which is what they say it will cost to implement. The cost to function permit to purchase after that will jump to $8 million.
$3 million tax dollars to implement.
$8 million more tax dollars annually to actually function it.
No wonder the Democrat led Legislature blocked the bill that would have given you a big tax break. Gotta get their gun control and probation & parole reform bills passed. That's $40 million added to the plates of tax payers for LESS safety.

I think it passed somewhere along the line; they just can't find financing.

They already missed their opportunity to vote on permit to purchase first thing.  I'm sure they are gonna take full advantage of that federal gun package from the other year
