Permit arrived early
« on: September 15, 2013, 01:34:36 AM »
I dropped my paperwork off at the New Castle County prothonotary office on June 28 2013.  I was told it would take 6 months to get a response.  I told my self after reading some of the post here just forget about it and it will show up sooner then I expected it would.  Sure enough it did.  10 weeks 6 days. It took my brother only 7 weeks 5 day and he put his paperwork in 1 week earlier then me.  I was not ready for it to show up this fast, as I do not have a holster for my firearm yet, but it feels good to have it.

Congratulations! Sounds like NCC has tuned up the process. Have any stats been published lately on the number of permits applied for and the number issued?

We are working on a worthy objective:
If more sane people were armed, the crazy people would get off fewer shots
Just a smelly deplorable dreg of society clinging to God and guns.

NCC must have ramped up their allotted time for looking after these as those submitted during the summer months seems to be getting done faster.
