Does anyone know if the Wilmington Playhouse in the Hotel du Pont has magnatrons or wands? I'm going to see a show there with my fiancee and would prefer not to be unarmed in Wilmington.

For myself, I often carry in no carry places. That is why it says, concealed, no one knows. I would rather be arrested than be mugged.

I'm not concerned with it being designated "no carry" by the business, I'm more concerned with whether they have metal detectors or wand at the entrance. I'd like to avoid an uncomfortable situation in that context if at all possible.

Doesn't appear to be anything about it on the website. In fact, they are more clear about not wanting you to record the performances than mentioning weapons of any kind
I imagine most people would set of a walk through being dressed up with belts, jewelry, car keys, etc. But I've never been there so I can only speculate

Having bad guy issues in the building is not likely, it is after you come out into peaceful Wilmington that is a problem.

No wanding in 2019

I can now fully confirm that there are no metal detectors and no one to wand entrants to the Playhouse Theatre in the Hotel duPont.

WDL & Playhouse are good to go too
