Kahr CW9 in either a Desantis "Tuck This" or Uncle Mike's pocket holster. The Kahr is very accurate but only holds 7 rounds. It is so thin and lite that I often forget I have it with me. I work with it, shoot pool, you name it.

L to R- Glock 19, Sig. P250c, Kahr CW9

The nice thing about the P250 is if you go with the small grip it makes it easier to conceal. I haven't had a problem with it yet. Sig is supposed to be releasing the sub compact version this spring.
-
Mostly I carry this Colt Defender in a Desantis IWB. Sometimes I will carry a S&W 642 in a pocket holster. I call it my summer gun.

SW9GVE. 9mm by S&W. Black not the funky green! 16+1 intend to get a shoudler holster as I'm already battling my waistband as it is! LOL Things are snug so I dont want to add to it with a holster and weapon. As a newbie (and a female), I'm always open to suggestions from folks who already carry.
-
Welcome Moosie, that S&W is a nice gun. they don't get enough looks due to the rest of the smith lineup. Only advise I would give as to the shoulder rig is that you always have to wear a coat or vest even in August. And also before you huy it think of which side you will wear it to and will a car seat belt interfere with drawing it. My wife is looking into one of the purses that the companies make. They are basically holsters that have a purse built around them. Nice thing about CCW is no matter what you decide its better than the alternative, not having protection. Good luck
-
I battle my waist line every day and still find the little extra room for the IWB holster however a purse holster would be a great alternative.
-
Both my wife and I carry the S&W 642 The wife has a Laser Max on hers with Houge grips .
She likes to carry hers in her purse and I'm experimenting with an ankle holster while I'm waiting for a Mika pocket holster I ordered back in November. It should be here next week, Mika mailed it on 2/11, can't wait. :D
-
Welcome to the forum and back to the state. If you would let us know what you think of the ankle rig. I've thought about it but I haven't met alot of people that carry that way to get a good feeling of if it would suit me. I have a 642 that I carry in my pocket sometimes but I don't really like it. Between keys and wallet and my chapstick there isn't alot of room in there.
-
Finally received my Mika pocket holster, it is fantastic using it with a pair of jeans. I do agree with you GunEnvy , with all the items I carried in both pockets now combined into one, it seems that I have bulging pockets although you can't tell I'm carrying with the Mika in place. The ankle holster I was using was a Galco Ankle Glove and I was getting used to it, just a little extra weight but it sure frees up the pocket space. I believe I will have to do the pick and choose method according to the situation of where and what I will be doing that particular day.
-
S&W 915 9mm with a 15 +1 and a 18 round as spare. I have been using a concealment tee from "A Better Holster" and have been very happy with it except I am fighting a moisture problem. I have a spot on the slide where the holster gets tight on the slide is wearing the finish with the moisture. I am keeping the gun well oiled and hope that will help, but I would consider any other suggestions!!

Hawkeye...how do you like the crossbreed holster with the Taurus?
I have the 3rd generation Millennium Pro - 9mm, and I am considering the same crossbreed holster...wondering what you can tell me about it.
Thanks!!!
-

Ah, the August-worn vest. Nothing says “I gotta big-assed honkin’ handcannon on me” like wearin’ a photographer's vest in August. Well, I guess that having a t-shirt that says “I gotta big-assed honkin’ handcannon on me” is close, but not as universally accepted. Also, wearing a fanny-pack (either in the front or back) sends the same message.

Sorry for not responding earlier. I forgot this post and did not look back. As for the SuperTuck I think it is great. It has enough adjustments that you can find what is comfortable. It is easy to forget it is there. I was a little disapointed at the plastic clips but they now are metal. I have found though that it is easier to put the hoster in the pants before I put the pants on. I would definately recommend it.

Kel-Tek 32

interesting choice, nice little pocket pistol

This is my first post.So here is my two cents. I wear the Milt Sparts SS2 daily, have one to train with G17 and one to wear G19. Its the most comfortable and overall best (http://www.botmasternet.com/) carry holster I own. I could not tell you how many holsters I own but they fill a footlocker.Have had a CCW for 14 years so I have alot of carry time. What every Mike Brown says you can take it to the bank.Everything he has advised me on is right on the money (http://www.botmasternet.com/). If you have not trained with Mike Brown you are missing out on a great learning (http://www.botmasternet.com/) adventure. Gary B Rasmussen Mike suggested the SS2 to me.

Milt Sparks holsters are awesome. The only problem, of course, is the wait. Returning customers tend to get a little bump-up in delivery time, though. Great craftsmanship, and incredible to wear. For OWB, though, I tend to go for Galco. They get beat up quicker, and are much easier to replace.
And speaking of beat up, how come the guns shown on here don't have any holster wear?
-
I'm waiting on my Milt Sparks VMII about 3 months to go.
-
I carry a Glock 23 in a Rocketman IWB holster
-
I just started carrying a Glock 32 instead of my Kimber, Im trying to keep my Kimber in good condition and I really don't want the wear its gonna get carrying it every day.
-
Para LDA 45. 14+1.
Moosie,
I think you said a shoulder rig. I have a nylon one. GLAD I went with it VS leather. Under a jacket I think it would be OK. Try to put a large shirt over it and it looks like an elephant under my arm.
-
Radnor, I'm actually in the process of lining and finishing the edges of my shoulder holster. The unfinished hide is leaving little bits of what I call "leather dust" on my clothing, not to mention that its a black holster and I'm not taking a chance of having the dye come off on my clothes! In the winter time I'll probably be able to wear this better, but for the summer time, im still using my purse. It totally sucks @@@, but its better than not carrying.
Right now, I'm looking for a smaller something -- probably a compact glock -- and wearing it outside the waist band with a vest or flowing type shirt over it. I'm telling you.. hiding a gun on a female is @@@@ near impossible!!! Seriously, unless i dress like Mom Mom, I can't conceal it without some sort of printing. No offense, but if I was a fat girl, it would be a hell of a lot easier to ccw.
:(

:(
I'm thinking that I see the solution!!!
But anyway, it really is a trial-and-error thing. It's hard to combine the perfect caliber with the perfect size with the perfect mechanics with the perfect way to carry something. It's hard not to compromise on at least one of the issues. And it's weather like this that shows the true mettle (or is that polymer?) of the person carrying the thing.
-
Hey Moosie if your looking for a compact Glock check out the G33 its the compact 357 sig and IMO a lot less muzzlw flip then the .40. Also the Springfield XD compact is a real nice gun with a real smooth trigger. Blue Hen Firearms can find you what ever you need.
-
Moosie, I have a Springfield XD subcompact in 40 in stock. I'm located just above the canal, so its not too too far for ya.
-
Mucho Grassy @@@
Oh, ummmm..... I guess grass isn't too bad.... Could be black top.... OUCH! And pick it up while movin round, then you dont have to worry about...
-
Hey Moosie are you looking for a compact or a sub compact? I carry the Glock 32 which is a compact and very easy to conceal. Also its in .357 sig such a nice nasty little round.
-
Kimber Custom CDP II .45 ACP in a Milt Sparks Versa Max II when dress code permits. S&W M&P 340 CT in a DeSantis pocket holster otherwise.

Sig,
Not subcompact... can't get my hands around it LOL. I just want something that I can wear a little more comfortably during the summer without having to wear a fleece in 90 degree heat!!
I'm still playing with my holsters and trying to modify it for my taste / women's figure. I wore my .40 via an OWB holster last week during a shopping trip. Luckily that day it was a little chilly out so I got to wear a jacket. It wasn't too uncomfortable, but I did feel like I should keep checking every mirror to see if it was sticking out as much as it felt like it was! LOL It wasn't. Couldn't even see it.
I did like the OWB, but it angled out, so I'm playing with attaching it a little higher up and tying it in some. When I figure something out, I'll be taking orders for all your wives... hehehehehehee just kidding. well.. not really. But I dont want to commit to that yet.

Just recently switched my main carry gun to a Springfield XD subcompact in 40 S&Whttp://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php?version=62 (http://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php?version=62) in a Crossbreed supertuck.
-
You couldn't resit getting the XD could you. ;D
-
LOL you knew it was gonna happen
-
wow not too many ppl in this forum huh? anyway, Winter time I usually carry my G22 or my Colt DE Mk II Officers with a cheap OWB from Uncle Mike's. Summer carry a G27 in either a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB which is extremely comfortable to me or a Galco OWB. I usually have my shirts untucked and kind of heavy for anyone elses liking. I'm thinking about getting a G23 or a Sig, but I want to try out the Sig first. I like the look just don't know how it would feel in my hands when I goto pull the trigger.
-
I have a G23, which I find difficult to conceal during the summer. Thinking of getting a G27.
-
I find that my SW Sigma (9 and .40) is also difficult to conceal (summer or winter) BUT, it's not completely impossible to do so. I'm still in search of a more compact firearm. Blue Hen, I'm gonna come see you real soon! :)
And SSgt, the activity in various threads and forums comes and goes. Depends on the weather and the time of year! Feel free to start some topics!

Durring the Summer I carry a G 32 and in the winter I've been carrying a Sig 228 and neither of them do I find any difficulty concealing.
-
Glock 27 (with the extra round extension), in a Blackhawk Serpa CQC. I'm fairly small framed, so hiding anything much larger can be a pain (and the wife always buys my clothes on the smaller side... we're working on that) :)
Cheers

Sig, I just saw your post on this. Of course you don't find either of those hard to conceal! Whens the last time you wore a pair of snug fitting low rise jeans? :) Yeah.. couple those with a sweater that doesn't look like a mumu and voila! You'll have a harder time concealing.
ROFL.. sorry. I'm just picturing you in a pair of snug fitting low rise jeans. hehehehee :)
Who loves ya!

Moosie are you stalking me again and looking in my windows. LMAO

I carry a Glock 29 and a spare magazine in a Safepacker. I like having 21 rounds of full-power 10mm on tap.
Nobody seems to notice it. I've hugged a U.S. Senator with it on... and I was wearing the larger one in the photo, with a G20 inside, on that day.
I don't need to worry about printing, and I don't need to handle the firearm with its trigger exposed.
I can remove it, or put it back on, outside the post office without some soccer mom dialing 911.
I can also get it out of there pretty smoothly and quickly.
