How do you know if you can't test drive the firearm?
« on: May 03, 2012, 12:19:38 AM »
I recall seeing a picture from GunEnvy of a Ed Brown Executive.  Do you have to buy on faith?  How do you decide otherwise?  If I had an Executive I’m pretty sure I would treat it like the “Ring” in the story Lord of the Rings.

Usually faith if it is an item that you can't find in a store.  If it can be found in a store, I usually hold it and do a visual inspection.

And ALWAYS look up the reviews that are given for the said firearm on multiple sites.

Not all shooters will like the same gun, that is one reason there are so many from which to choose.  Ed brown is usually a safe choice as far as quality goes, but Target Master has guns you can test druve, just maybe not that brand.

Research it as best you can, then make the call.

Heck, I just ordered a car I couldn't test drive. It'll come in next week. Sure hope I like it.

Sounds like a road trip!  Lets all pile in and give it the acid test.  Maybe we can find that gravel pit that the locals use for bustin caps. ;D
