Title: PA HB2436, Statutory Required Reciprocity
Post by: groundgrid on August 26, 2014, 02:04:23 AM
It just came to my attention that this bill is currently in the PA House's Judiciary Committee.

http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/PN/Public/btCheck.cfm?txtType=PDF&sessYr=2013&sessInd=0&billBody=H&billTyp=B&billNbr=2436&pn=3979

If adopted, it forces the PA AG's office to negotiate reciprocity agreements & recognize out of state carry permits.

If you have nay friends & family in PA, please have them write their legislator in support of this bill.

I think HB2398 (http://www.legis.state.pa.us/CFDOCS/Legis/PN/Public/btCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&sessYr=2013&sessInd=0&billBody=H&billTyp=B&billNbr=2398&pn=3919) is actually a more worthwhile bill....also sitting in Committee.
