Title: 19943 ZIP
Post by: Poppop XDM on February 27, 2013, 04:42:30 PM
Does anyone know what paper would cover this area?  Not sure if Dover Post does or if they even print notice of intent

Dover Post or the Guide....Stay Away from the Delaware State News. They ask for to much personal information including the reason why you want a CCDW and they keep this information indefinitely. For me they refused to place my add in their paper unless I gave them a Completed Copy of my Application which Should go ONLY to the Prothonotary.

I live in 19943 and used the Dover Post. Just run out to South Little Creek Road, Dover, just past the RT 1 over pass and it's on the right. Go in the front to the deak and tell the person you want to place a concealed carry ad, and they will give you a paper to sign. Pay the money (still $30.00 I think)and they will send you a certification of your ad running. That is what you will need for your application. You must wait 10 days after the ad appears in the Dover Post to apply for your DECCW. Good Luck.

Kent, I would pass that information on to the AG's office. They have no right to that information.

This was a few years ago. I was told and my Firearms instructor was also told that "This is the Policy of the Delaware State News".

I'm telling you all the Dover Post is the place for the ad in Kent County. Only cost $30.00 bucks and no B/S question policy. DSN is a liberal rag.
