Title: Springfield XD-S Safety Recall

Springfield has recalled all XD-S pistols for a safety issue.  It could go full auto.  This is also posted in Handguns

Can I buy one  ::) Wheee Legally own a full auto without the tax stamp and in DE to boot! lol

Ugghh - thanks for sharing.  Haven't even had mine for 2 weeks yet...

Any idea how long the repair takes?

There is a ton of info on xdtalk.com in the XD-S forum about the recall and shipping the pistol back to Springfield.  Too much to list here.  They are saying about 4-6 weeks.
