Don't reckon that FedEx will change. To paraphrase an old saying: you can't teach an old company new tricks. I overstating this a little, but companies are more afraid of losing a lawsuit than losing an employee.

I recently responded to a company's ad for part-time work at a location on US13 near I295. Low pay but very interesting and educational work. Manager was interested but I had one non-negotiable condition. "What's that?" " I carry." "Sorry, it's against company policy." He disagreed with the policy but didn't think it could be changed. I left without filling out the job application.

When will these people understand that gun free zones are easy targets?
