Posted in the News Journal today:

Former gunshop owner James Cheeseman, of X-Ring Supply, got time served for his illegal drug activity.

His lawyer stated he had been punished enough through the loss of his livelihood and about $500,000 worth of store merchandise.  The judge agreed.

More than 600 firearms were siezed by police, and prosecuters moved to have them permanently made forfeit to the government.

According to federal policy, all the siezed weapons are likely to be destroyed. >:(

Cheesemans sisters now own the gunshop.
