Title: .40 ammo?
Post by: Moosie on March 12, 2009, 07:39:46 PM
Where can I get some cheap practice ammo for a .40 and 9mm today or tomorrow?  I'm looking for 200 + rounds of each.

Thanks!

Nice!  Thanks.

I've heard that .40 ammo is scarce...   any truth to that?  Think Walfarts will have that too?

$19 I think is a good price.

Thanks, Sig!

Its not like you bought several cases of this stuff... did you?

Just shoot it at the range for practice and see if you can tell a difference.
I put 200 rds of 147gr thru last week cause it was cheap and what I could get.
No problems... put holes in the target = fun hour or so at the range.

Stock the good ammo, practice with the rest imo.

Target ammo is target ammo if your not using it for competition and as long as it works with no failures then buy the cheapest stuff you can and save your money for your personal defense ammo. As long as you can hit the target and get halfway decent groups that's all that matters.
