Title: Considering moving to DE

Hello from a new member:
I have been researching DE firearm laws as I consider moving my family from PRNJ and could not find anything that address my questions. Is there residency period before I can apply for CCW? Also, is there a general length of time that your references need to know you?

Hi firedragon and welcome to the forum. There is no length of residency requirement, however you'll need references from 5 residents of your county. The longer your references know you, of course, the better for you. Delaware is a "may issue" state so ultimately the court judge who reviews your application will decide whether your references knowledge of you is adequate or not.
