No first hand experience, however my understanding is that you must have it shipped / pick it up from a DE FFL.

I believe they do ship directly to your home, unless you are in a restricted state (which DE will soon be). I have a Garand on order, so I will know soon for sure.

From their FAQ:
Do rifles need to be shipped to a Licensed Dealer?

IMPORTANT: If your State or locality requires you to first obtain a license, permit, or Firearms Owner ID card in order to possess or receive a rifle, you must enclose a photocopy of your license, permit, or card with the application for purchase. Rifle shipments to NY, NJ and CT must be made to a state licensed dealer. You must provide a copy of the dealer’s license with your order form.

NY, NJ and CT customers who have already mailed their rifle orders to CMP should provide custserve@thecmp.org with dealer information or order cancellation instructions. Information can also be faxed to 256-835-3527 or mailed to CMP Customer Service, (Attn: FFL Order), 1401 Commerce Blvd., Anniston, AL 36207.

Yes I will . I'm at 90 days. My C&R license didn't come into play. Website FAQ states they run a background NICS  on everyone.

"We do not have to concern ourselves that the copy of the FFL, C&R, or CCW (often blurred and hard to read) may be forged or completely bogus.  Remember that even a picture ID has little value when the person sending it in is not standing in front of us."

Eclipse, just received an email from CMP with a tracking number. FedEx priority states my Springfield Arms M1 Garand will be delivered to my house tomorrow afternoon, adult signature required. Took 19 weeks. I'll let you know tomorrow, and try to post a photo.

FedEx priority delivered it @ 0900. Just had to sign for it. Service grade Springfield. $625 plus $25 S&H.
Looks nice. Now I need 30-06 ammo....
I'll have to minimize file size before posting a photo.

they are good outfit, will ship to house ,they do a fed check , I have gotten a couple of Springfield from them . they are all checked out completely before they are offered for sale. I have been to camp perry a few times for shoots, and that is where there North store is. they allow you to pick your own from the racks, good people, ammo good (Greek cans a good deal) you have to belong to a   recognized organization . there web site lets you know who, any everything that is needed.

Just found this comment while reading the CMP forum. Thought I'd post it as a follow-up. Interesting.

CMP is exempt from FFL requirements and we do not even have to use the NICS system - even in our sales. However, the law that established CMP requires that we conduct a successful background check before we ship a rifle to an individual - no exceptions.

We just use the NICS as a convenience to us rather than hiring a private firm to conduct background checks on our customers, and the added cost and months of delay.
