Title: Reloading, cost effective?
Post by: seniorgeek on July 07, 2013, 10:22:37 PM
With the current prices of ammo (9mm), is it worthwhile to reload? Since I have 3 firearms that shoot 9mm I go through a lot.
Comments?

Long answer, yes

Short answer, yes

I currently reload 45, 44, 357 and 38.  It takes a little time for the $$  to balance with the initial cost of the equipment, but ends up being a well worth it $$ saver and skill IMO

As George Benson told me years ago, you won't save money, but you'll shoot more.

Good luck finding powder and bullets!

Seriously though, reloading is fun.
