Here is another question for the forum, I have Delaware carry permit and a Penna non resident Permit if for some reason my permit in Delaware isn't renewed is my Penna permit still good. or is one not good without the other.
-
I was told by the people in Reading that my PA non-resident permit was tied to my DE permit. If I no longer have the DE permit, my PA permit is no longer valid.
-
Correct. That's how reciprocity between states work.

The PA permit doesn't just automatically get voided. THe issuing sheriff would have to revoke it. You wouldn't be able to RENEW the PA permit without a valid DE permit.

I guess I'm behind the times, but I had the oppertunity to get up to Lancaster today (haven't been since 2007)and dropped in on the Sheriff's Office and got my Non-Resident PA. CCW Permit. The people there are great, friendly and efficient. Parking was a problem, but I found a free 2 HR. parking spot 4 blocks away. The walk did me good. Best $20 I spent today.
