Post by: Hawkeye on May 09, 2009, 02:37:27 AM
As stated in the Delaware Bill of Rights. Saw this on another site.

§20. Right to keep and bear arms.

Section 20. A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use. (4-16-87)

The state does NOT have the power to restrict the right to bear arms in states parks. For some reason they still have that law. I would love to be able to challenge it. It is clearly written:

§20. Right to keep and bear arms.

Section 20. A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use. (4-16-87)

I agree with you but they get away with it since Delaware dosent allow hunting with rifles (except rabbits and squirles below the ditch). Since they began allowing handgun hunting deer a few years ago it would be interesting to see if that would be something that could challenge it.
